Stumped on Multi Spark Gap

Hello im working on the final part of my TC and thats the spark gap. I want a multi spark gap quenched by a fan thats easy to make and I have some copper electrodes to use. Any suggestions on what kind of spark gap i can make, and whats the max spark distance that i require for 9kV 30mA line transformer? Thanks!

Thanks for your reply! I followed ur spark gap but the electrodes were laid out flat instead of in a circle. I switched on the power to the primary circuit without primary coil and got some sparks in the spark gap. Then i connected my coil and i see some wires catching fire, the pri coil arcing with secondary coil. Then i increased the number of electrodes in my spark gap. After some tries the spark gap stopped having arcs. i tried with just 2 and there were no arcs, just a little flame in one of my wire connections with my transformer almost at almost full power.

Did i fry my transformer? My transformer have a safety gap on its output that sparks sometimes. Or did i burn my capacitor? Im using 15 1kV caps in series (2 strings to get my required capacitance) but im not sure how to test them.

Any suggestions? Thanks!
