High gate voltage IGBT driver IC needed
TheMerovingian, Thu Feb 22 2007, 11:29AMFor my new coilgun pistol i will use a hybryd design (5 scr + 1 or 2parallel IGBT), but i want to avoid too much power dissipation during the on state, so i plan to overdrive it at 24V using a dedicated IC or a discrete design. Any advices?

check microchip, they have some gate driver ic's that willl handle 30v.

I didn't find them, also they don't accept neigher buying nor sample orders from private users

yes they do, i have been sampling PICs and gate drives such as the 4421/22s.
