Torch from exploding wire

Now I am making more tests with 100 Joule before breaking wires at 400 Joules.
This is a low power wire explosion (capacitors remains to full voltage):

An these others produces the torch (capacitors discharges about 92% of energy):

As you can see in better explossions a torch appear at some distance from the wire electrodes. I has put pcb over the wire to try discharge capacitors before explosion, so perhaps torch appear when a firing pcb reach ground or perhaps a focused plasma reached the ground and then makes that beautiful torch. What do you think?

I am looking for a relation between wire length, wire diameter, inductance and capacitor capacity in order to discharge the whole charge. Do anibody know the equation?
