What is the diffrence in Petroleum ether and petroleum ether, anhydrous?

Yeah that was a dumb question lol, anyway is there a reason this stuff is controlled by some companys? one company wouldnt sell me any but another sold me 2L.

A lot of solvents are controlled because they can be used for cocaine extraction.
Quite what the government hopes to achieve by this is not clear to me. Gasoline can be used as the solvent and I don't see them banning that any time soon.

Ok well how about this... Ethyl Alcohol CH3CH2OH and Ethyl Alcohol C4H5OH one is drinkable and the other one i dont know about. what do u think?
