RIP Jim Mitchell
AndrewM, Thu Aug 29 2019, 11:38PMI don't post here a lot, and in fact I don't think Jim Mitchell does anymore either. I'm sure most people never even knew him, but he was a young member in the early days of 4HV. Frankly he was often a pest, a trait he was well aware of and occasionally relished. I had a certain fondness for Jim, seeing a lot of my younger self in him, which is why I'm making this post.
I have no details, but from his facebook Jim apparently died last week, not quite 30 years old. He was a smart kid and as best I can glean from his life on the internet didn't walk an easy path as an adult. RIP.

That is so sad... any info on how he passed? Hopefully it wasn't due to the affliction that us naturally born tinkerers often have, aussie50 on YouTube is an example of what I mean. Bigclive.com spoke more about this on youtube.
I used to be a very active member but I've not been on since about 8 years ago, until Conundrum brought this to my attention. I have sympathy for anyone that knew him. May he rest in piece.
