Poweing Tesla coil with single mot

Hi, so now i have my farely small Tesla coil(2 cm in diamiter and 26 cm height) setted up with flyback zvs driver at around 200 wats, it has mmc bank, paralel spark gaps(4 of them), and it produces nice arcs of about 17 cm.
I recently got one MOT from old microwave and it seem like quite big one. It can ark long before it overheats and is pretty big... And now i was wondering could i use diode and cap that i also got from microwave to double the voltage from mot to around 4 kv, and then use it to power my tesla coil. Now the mot is not balasted and i am not planning to do so as it doesnt trip my braker and never had overheating problems.... So is it doable and what problems may i run into? Will my coil be able to sustain such power or will i need bigger coil. I can unwind ac motor coil from microwave and wind another bigger coil if needed. And finally will the mot output be enugh when doubled, and will it do better what flyback on my coil, as it is 2 kw.
Thanks for your time, if you know the answer please write it down. Have a nice day!

If for a sgtc the relatively low voltage requires a small airgap which is difficult to maintain constant
and the high current can cause such heating of the electrodes that the arc will not extinguish easily.
I think that you will need very good airflow through the gap.

Link2
I think you may melt your current setup, you would have to be very careful with the design.

yes, my sparkgap is 4 steal bolts 1 cm tick, i will make better spark gap for that. But will 8 be able to make bigger sparks? i seen some singe mot coils on yt but none of them gives some arca that are better than i already have. As for air flow i will ad a vacum cleaner.

If you can get it, tungsten makes excellent spark gap electrodes,
(I used similar to these, but the price seems high Link2 )
the worst metals are the ferromagnetic ones, iron/steel, nickel, cobalt,
as they will heat up quickly.
(or low melting point alloys or toxic materials)

I doubt that a Richard Quick / TCBOR / multi-gap spark gap would perform well
compared to a single gap with high speed airflow.

Huh dont know about thungsten but i can get graphite electrodes. So you suggest i better use one gap that has a good airflow instead of multiple ones. And what about coil spces, will such small coil be able to sustain 2 kw of power?

Hay, i have another question, if i was to run some small coil with very big primary power transfomrer what would happen? Lets say if you tried to pump about a kilowatt of power in some 10 cm coil?

Have a look for a DC powered rotary spark gap coil they can use a MOT but require far more parts to get going. If you put too much power in to something it will get hot then smoke, melt catch fire etc. If you do try it make sure to have a fuse in the circuit and something to put out the fire out.
