Shop Storage Solutions

I'm always thinking of storage solutions because space is limited these days, so here is one of my ridiculous ideas.
I used a lot of ABS glue to ensure all the pipes were bonded together, then mounted them to a base to keep everything
from tipping over.

This really helps me find raw stock that I didn't even know I had because it was buried in the bucket, but now that it is more
exposed, I know what I have.

And now I have the cutest little jars!

The old jars I'm going to recycle for the bigger parts, and the little jars will have all the smt caps, resistors and inductors.

They're soo cute! These are 1 Dram vials, cost about $30.

I was running out of space, and a 4 or 6 Dram vial for 5 0603 caps is a waste of storage space, the old labels were also falling off, so I'm taking this in a new direction. You can get quite a bit in these little jars if you get a few sizes, they're not ESD but I'm not concerned about that.

If you decide to do the same, put the size of the footprint below the value, that was an oversight.

I guess i will have to try to upload the pics again later.

Hazmatt
the before and after pics --if you click on them I get a 404 file not found error
I know this is not your doing but the upgrade that this site has just done

annoying enough though as I would have liked to see in more detail your solution

I'm betting that the root cause is the pics are taken with my phone and the metadata is causing issues. So I'll see what I can do after my vacation.

Still can't upload jpg or png so I'm going to give up for a while.
