Looking for three phase rectifier
Dr. H., Thu Jan 08 2015, 05:30PM
Hello guys,
I am looking for a three phase rectifier (that looks like a brick and has 5 terminals) in the range of 200+V and 200+A.
Cheers

If you have two single phase rectifiers you should be able to parallel the DC lines and by not using the fourth AC input have a 3 phase rectifier. One side will carry 2/3rds of the current. You could use 3 units to evenly balance.

Or you could just use six big stud diodes on heatsinks (I use big schottky's). It might take up a bit more room but should run cooler.

Hi guys
thanks for the suggestions. I am looking for something more compact and don't want 6 separate diodes and heatsinks.
I've been looking at those -
but I am a bit sceptical if those are genuine parts.
Cheers
