That is a custom made step up transformer. The guy in the first picture is photoniciduction from youtube (well was, he closed his channel).

It took the 240VAC mains and stepped it up to around 100kV (going by arc striking distance).

You wont be able to buy one of them easily, his was custom made and probably cost quite a bit of money.

Just get used Xray transformer and put it in fancy metal box with feedthrough insulators.

Not difficult at all. All major components are available on ebay.. or your local scrapyard with some luck.

i was thinking of making somthing simlar to PI's transformer (he used a xray transformer for it) but i can see any xray heads that arnt over £100
