Free filter optimser software needed

Can anybody point me to some free software which can optimse an LCR (less than a dozen components) circuit to a 3-port S-parameter goal?

I have several flavours of SPICE, all of which will analyse, but not optimise.

Either that, or a callable subroutine which I can call from Python or Matlab which analyses a small circuit and returns S-parameters, as a goal-seeking optimiser in either of those is fairly straightforward.

Time is of the essence, once I get back to work on Monday, I can use ADS.
