If Kizmo gets this box going I want to make sure things like this never happen again. I'd Like to get the box back to me and host it from here in a similar way as done with the USA one. This is much safer and cheaper.

Kizmo said that he didn't have the money to send the box to here. Are there people willing to contribute to getting this box moving again?

If you don't like the idea of a virtual box please tell me.

how much postage does it need?

i wonder if MadsKaizer and others would be happy to contribute a little towards the postage to get the box moving again?

I still have this - what shall I do with it?

Is there a consensus?

Cheers

Think you have the UK/EU one. If I recall correctly I've sent you a pm for the next person in the list. An alternative option is to use the USA system where all junk is stored centrally so we save on postage. Just tell me what you think is best

Is this thing still going around? I'd love to get it here and maybe add some goodies too! I noticed that the box is in Finland still, correct? Would be nice if it could tour a little more in Finland! ;)

I decided to have the box send back to me. It will be centralized to avoid more mishaps like this. More details will come later when I have the box and found time to post on the wiki.

1 year 4 months 28 days 19 hours 37 minutes 34 seconds later the story continues.

The box is now travelling to Dalus and should arrive in 6-8 days.

Its indeed lot of junk and unfortunately some of the items were damaged at same point.

Removed damaged items:

TFT screen (cracked)
Small colar cells (bent/snapped/cracked)
Unknown circuit boards (missing components, torn traces)

Items out:

- damaged ones
- Game boy + printer
- VU meter
- three LED panels
- Some film caps
- 3x PCI gfx cards and some other pcbs

Items in:

- 2800VAC 1.4µF capacitor from large microwave
- 1µF 4000VDC capacitor from tube transmitter
- 100A 2-pole switch/breaker thing
- Infineon 1200V 600A pulsed half bridge IGBT module FF300R12KE3
- Puck SCRs
- Stud SCR
- 1600V 50A 3 phase rectifier
- 2x factory made Steve Wards DRSSTC boards
- surprise

Box has seen better days but i believe it will stay together since i used half a roll of tape. cheesey

And i tried to use as much filler material as possible.
