Great news!

The box has been returned to my stoop as "unclaimed"

Where shall I send it off to next?

That's great news. I just sent a PM along with the next person, whom thankfully I know is still around.

The box arrived here just before easter. It was bulging and heavy.

Stuff I taken:
5 x PIC microcontrollers.
Some capacitors and crystals.
Light engine.
Voice recorder/playback IC.
Some ICs.

There was a lot of broken stuff like the ferrites. They went to the bin.

Stuff I added:
2 x 30Khz ultrasonic transducers.
12 x 2N7000 small signal MOSFET, six are SMT type.
2 x dual gate fet.
Tons of various general purpous transistors.
Tons of neon lamps.
200 x Blue 3mm LEDs (2 bags of it)
7 x memory backup capacitors(various sizes).
5 x HGT1N30N60A4D mini brick IGBTs.
1 x working HP photosmart 612 digital camera. (only take this if you do not have a camera to take pictures of your experiments or your camera sucks.:))
1 x hammer.
1 x adjustable wrench.
1 x HV insulator.
My microwave oven diode collection.
14 x IR PIN diodes.
Some ICs.
2 x 13.560Mhz crystals(SMT type), great for 13.56Mhz tesla coils.
1 x 10.140Mhz crystal. Can be used to pick up Chris's QRSS beacon.
Solar powered radio.
2x16 LCD module.

I put many of the loose components in some plasic bins. This shold help prevent them from getting smashed douring shipping. Reuse these bins for the HV migratory box.

The matching PC board and the 20w amp did not fit in the box. I wanted to also add an AC flyback but there is no room in the box. Maybe next time...

The box will be shiped tomorrow.

The box just arrived at my house today. I am at my college at the moment, but I will hopefully head home briefly one day this weekend to deal with the box (college is only 45min from home). My dad says it is completely stuffed with something...

Ok, I have finished with the box and repacked it. Today is Sunday so I will be shipping it to bwsparxz tomorrow. You guys were really not kidding, this thing is completely stuffed full of "junk". And when it came time to repack it...well lets just say all my hours spent playing Tetris finally paid off...

Box contents:
Small

So here's what I removed:
Small

-Solar powered radio
-2x TL494
-50x 3mm blue LEDs
-20x neon lamps
-1x HUGE CdS cell
-2x ultrasonic transducers
-2x other transducers
-12x Kingbright RGB LEDs
-2x UCC37321
-HV insulator
-bunch of 1N4004 diodes
-3x perfboards
-2x 200A LEM current transducers
-1x 5.5V 1F memory backup cap
-desoldering braid
-unlabeled 'lytic cap
-10x 2N2222 (not pictured)

I added:
Small

-large sheet of double sided 2oz copper clad
-5x LM7805 +5V regulators
-2x 2N3055 transistors (TEST PLEASE! One may be broken, not sure)
-10x "medium ferrite toroid" from Electronics Goldmine. Recommended by Steve Ward for his SSTC GDTs.
-2x 12mm UV LEDs
-several feet of magnesium ribbon
-1x SOIC UCC37321
-1x 330V 160uF photoflash cap
-3x 600V TYN640RG SCRs (these are perfect for photoflash-level CGs. I've used them up to 70J with no problems.)
-tube of 555 timers
-2x Xenon strobe tubes (trigger pins removed)
-50x 1Mohm 2W resistors (Marx anyone?)
-Pre-soldered CW multiplier section (uses 1N4007 diodes and 1kV 1nF caps)
-2x Molybdenum Permalloy toroids (these make AMAZING ZVS driver inductors! They only need 8-10 turns, which allows for extra thick wire!)
-2x TO-247 size black heatsinks
-10x 20V 47uF military tantalum caps (great for decoupling UCCs)
-100x 1N4148 ultrafast signal diodes
-6x 8-DIP IC sockets
-1x large halogen lamp
-1x large puk SCR (unclamped)
-2x large brick SCRs
-1x 400V 330uF 'lytic cap
-4x 0.68uF 875V foil caps (make great resonant caps in ZVS drivers, or halfbridge caps in SSTCs)
-3x pulse transformers (got these here, don't know much about them except they give a fat inch-long spark if you discharge a photoflash cap into the primary)
-10x MPF102 JFETs (bought them to make this; they work perfectly for it)
-1x 350V 1300uF 'lytic with 20W 10kohm bleeder

I've also compiled a comprehensive inventory of almost everything in the box as of today:
]gimboj_inventory.txt[/file]

Well that's about it, hopefully the box continues its journey safely and uninterrupted after I mail it tomorrow.
Regards,
Shaun

We'll have to assume he's just busy. I contacted him to ensure he was still interested, and he most definitely was. Hopefully everyone realizes that there are still a lot of people to get to on the list, so moving it along in a timely manner is the polite thing to do.
