Got the Box today.
Man that is one crammed to the max little box full of goodies.
I have updated the list with what I jacked, and what I added.
I left the CMH600's in there, because while it was very cool to hold, I will probably never use them.
My camera is also on the fry, so I will post pics of what I took later, but if you use your imagination, you'll probably not have to work too hard to come up with the fact that I took very little.

Well, finally going to send it out. I am very sorry for the delay, and the fact that i did not add much.

The box was in sad condition, made me cry a little :P. It was torn, bulged and stuff, so i got a new box. A little plastic box inside was broken, and a bunch of ferrite toroids and other ferrite stuff was cracked and just floating around the box. I took them all out of course. I made a new 'box' for the CM600's, made with a piece of cardboard wrapped tightly around them and then taped shut, and then i stuffed newspaper tightly into the sides and taped that up. Not perfect, but alright. Also, i re-wrapped the bipolar transistors in the bubble wrap, and taped it shut. Did some other stuff not worth mentioning, like repackaging stuff and putting stuff in the big ziplock. I also took the mounting bracket off of one of the MOC's that Ultra7 put in the box to make room.

Anyway, what i took:

The 4 g27n120bn IGBT's, 2 irfp250's, 10 uf4007's, 2 of the screw down terminal things that mount on a pc board, 2 small black heatsinks to make room, the 2 Dale 1kohm resistors, two small spools of wire and the 4 very tiny magnets.

What i added (not really much of anything good, could not fit any of the good stuff):

A bag of random small capacitors good for timing or decoupling, 3 sk065k scr's which are 1kv and 65/70 amps continuous and 950amps for 10ms and worth something like 7 bucks each, 24 10megohm resistors for tesla coil tank cap bleeders/balancers, a bag of 10 assorted crystal oscillators, 2 SOIC ucc37322 9 amp mosfet drivers, and a 650pf 20kvdc capacitor from Chris Hooper, which he got from RFparts.com and the 500pf 20kvdc caps that look identical from there are worth i think 35 bucks.

I know it was not much, but if someone thinks i should, i will send 3 MOC's and 2 computer grade lytics that are i think 200vdc and 1400uf to the next person in line that wants them at my expense. I also have more stuff i wanted to add, but i just can not fit anymore. The box is bulged again, and even though i got it today, it looks like someone set off a few tons of tnt in it. It is so full, i picked it up and shook it and nothing moved at all. Seriously! Ask DaJJHman when he gets it.

The first pic is all the broken ferrite pieces, the second is the complete contents of the box, after i took my stuff, third and forth is the CM600 box(if you can call it that) that i made in 3 1/2 seconds, fifth is the old junk box(left) and the new one i got(right), sixth is what i added.

Sorry, the pictures that i have of what i took will not download, because my camera is a piece of junk. But you can pretty much just imagine what i took.

it arrived today, and I already took my new stuff out, put my old stuff in, took pics, updated the log book, and will send it out tomorrow... and arcstarter, how this box did not rip in half during transport remains a mystery to me lol

what I took:
2x CM600's (sorry, but I have big plans for them since I am on winter break... ^_^)
2x 1800uF 450VDC caps
small panel mount mic jack connector
disk flyback (never got the one I ordered from Logan, so I took it)

a scrap Mazzili driver board (one of the ones with the smaller traces peeling off)
1x unused copper clad board
and a small homemade PCB for what appears to be an RF project

What I put INTO the box:
1x 7kV micro Transformer (the thing is about one inch cubed)
1x CCFL Driver
1x 200 mw, 808nm Laser Diode w/ technical data in Antistatic bag
1x unpopulated I/O board I got two of when betatesting a dual core arduino board... (data: HERE)
at least 4 feet of Nitinol Wire
1x 25 button Membrane Keypad
1x five by eight red/green/orange LED Matrix
2x small, LED dot matrix displays (supports two characters on one, and four on the other)

1x DLP Chip and Driver Board and Peltier Cooler from a working NEC SX-10000 Light Engine (3 DLP chip, 1080 HD Projector... so I can spare at least one of the boards).. in an oversize, resealable AntiStatic bag

2x paired RF Transmitter/receiver (NOTE: on these units I do not know which transmitters/receivers are which, and the sets use two DIFFERENT frequencies! take both, or know how to check then it won't matter though)...
1x Mark Generator "starter kit" (this was for sale on this board, but no one made an offer on my stuff, so in the box it goes) - the assembly consists of twelve 25 pF, 10kV caps in parallel via 1megOHM resistors and is on two terminal blocks for easy adjustment of the gaps

OK, got the box yesterday and it is very dense.

I added:
6x - small heatsinks (some w/transistors attached)
1x - Dale 130 watt 1500 ohm power resistor
1x- coaxial lightning/surge protector
1x - RCA style plug receptacle
1x - small clip on microphone
3x - small DC motors with gears
1x - 0-19 selector switch
1x - "rope" style 120v heating element (gets warm at 12v)
1x - pot-style flash heating element (120v but will supposedly melt itself if not regulated or without a load)
2x -12v DC brushless fans
2x - snap on ferrite chokes
1x - lighted LED momentary switch
2x - 131k MOVs (yellow)
2x - huge photoresistors
1x - high current momentary switch
1x - spade terminal fuse holder w/20A fuse

I took:
4x - RHRG7560 diodes (still 4 left)
2x - mica mounting insulators
1x - small heatsink
1x - key switch
1x - 10 meg resistor package
2x - small relays
?x - A few random small capacitors/resistors from "the bag" (you'll see what I mean)
1x - photoflash board
1x - HV diode string
1x - peltier module

I also (for the sake of room) took out a "board" if you will that had an electrolytic capacitor partially embedded in a black epoxy resin. There were some resistors showing through it but they could not have been salvaged and I could not get the capacitor off of it (it was approximately the value of a photoflash cap and there are a few of those still in the box).

There is NO free space in the box (and there wasn't when I got it) - someone needs to take the two larger electrolytic capacitors.

Also that DLP projector module is awesome looking - I hope someone can get it to work.

I will send it out as soon as I know who to send it to . . . I just PM'd Chris Russell to we'll see . . .

EDIT - UPDATE - I sent it out today (2/9/09).

Apologies, I got wrapped up in the whole server restore thing, and fixing the wiki. The map update completely slipped my mind. I'll have a big map update ready tomorrow evening at the latest. Everyone who hasn't received the box yet (and Billybobjoe) will be getting a PM at that time telling them who is getting the box after them.

If you're still deciding if you want to participate, now's the time! I intend to plot out all the remaining recipients on the list with this update (about half a dozen, from the looks of it). If nobody else chimes in, the box will go back to me, and I'll document the whole box and scan the logbook. From there, it'll either get passed on to Europe/Canada, or stay with me until someone requests it be sent out again.

The box showed up today in good shape. It's super heavy and not an inch to budge inside. Lots of fun stuff going around:

I took:
Big ChunkyMonkey SCR
Heater cup
1 heatsink
1 keypad
2 microswitches
some of the PICs

I added:
1 5000W custom planar transformer from a welder I designed. Ping me for the datasheet.
30 Kingbright Chameleon full color RGB pixels in DIP package
4 LEM LA-205-P +/- 300A current sensors
100 pieces of 1N4004 (approx)
4 pieces 3x5 proto board
10x 40CPQ60 Schottkys
8X HGTG40N60A4D from Mountaintop PA. No hole , with the diode co-packaged there was no room :(

Tootles!
