Whew, that was quite an update. Took me a while to track down everyone's names, addresses, and approximate geographical locations. Also had to request additional information from a few people. At any rate, the map is complete. It can be a bit confusing, as some members are pretty close together, and the path now crosses itself in a few places, but just follow the path in order and you can see where it's going, and who is getting it.

Everyone should now have a PM with the address of the next person on the list. Everyone who is participating should now be on the map. If anyone doesn't have such a PM, or doesn't appear on the map, PM me right away, so we can get it straightened out.

I am a dumpster diver. I have every part in quantities of 1 or 2.

If i need several identical parts, I have to buy those parts.

I like the idea, but i am not sure if the junk box can solve this problem.

I am thinking of something like a mass-disassembly plant. :)

Actually the junk box isn't a box of trashed electronics. The box is a way to swap spare parts, it has nothing to do with removing parts from dead appliances.

Sorry, it appears the box has been mostly destroyed. I've asked for it to be returned to me. I'll know more about the condition of the box and when it can get moving again once I've got it.

What happened to the box in the end? did someone take off with it?

The US box was lost/destroyed, and has been replaced with a stationary communal junk box.
