No. Not for the specifications for your coil. Seems just about right.
If you want a lower fres, use a much smaller gauge wire.
24 AWG is HUGE for the size coil you are running. Even my largest tesla coils don't even use wire that size. The largest i've used for a standard secondary is 26 AWG.

for a secondary that small I think that is a very reasonable estimate. I would recommend making it a little wider (like 2.7" or so), which will lower the Fres and also get you a better (in my opinion) looking secondary. It also fits the 4:1 height to width ratio generally accepted to be the best for Tesla coils...

If you run it in a SGTC it will probably work, but not generate terribly high voltages as the stepup seems to depend on the inductance ratio of primary and secondary. Running it in a SSTC would be very hard, so I would not recommend that.

When you ask a question, please be sure to provide as much information about your system as required for your question to be answered. Please remember that other members are going to take the time out of their schedules to address your question, so its only common courtesy to ask your question providing as much detail as possible.
Simply putting specs out for a secondary coil, and then saying will it work, doesn't help. Remember the rules - do your homework first (which means spend the time to post all specs about your proposed system)

In that case it will work, but it would be better if you would it with like 30awg wire... A do have a feeling that at 3mhz the output sparks are not as flowing as with a lower frequency, they will be more like corona....
