I don't know who you are, but perhaps a little perspective may help.
One will go mad if they try to rationalize the irrational... it has happened to more than a few people.
Some of the people I know ended up insane, drug addicts, or alcoholics. The ones that piss themselves several times a day from chronic seizures don't seem to care as they stopped wanting things in life. These friends still have moments of lucidity, but many must remain on anti-psychotics.
No one can know if the flashbulb memories will fade completely, but one must adapt to a civilian life. Perhaps a cognitive behavioral therapist could assist you in this area.
A pet dog or cat may help you focus on healthier routine habits.

No sweat, we all have bad days/weeks/months, me included. Funny, when you complimented me on the artistic side of my stuff (as Harry), I distinctly thought that it was an almost feminine comment.
As for donating to 4HV, can anyone give me change for one of these?
