You appear not to need this kind of advice, so I will refer you to the very many academic papers on atmospheric microwave attenuation which you'll find on the internet, and wish you well with your experiments.
Hi Again Harry, I totally agree, "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing" . Here in New Zealand they use the phrase "you dont know, what you dont know!!"
