Hi all,
Anyone know of any cheap source in Australia that sells prisms and perhaps mirrors for laser experimentation? Perhaps a kit or something?

Photocopiers and old laser printers (AR coat too) have front surfaced mirrors. CD/CDROM players can have cube or normal beam splitters. Cheap laser pointers can have culminating lens.
Jell-O I think has to be the most fun for showing how fibre optics work etc. edsci.com or ebay sells just about everything.
