put to primary 220V ac, and have HV, simple cheesey
also, its very danger, because 2KW and 1A in output, keep away from working MOT

I don't think it will work to use a MOT to do that, you could try but I doubt it will work.

It will not work. Connect it to mains, but be warned it can draw up to 5000VA from the mains when shorted.

Why wouldn't it work? I'm sure if you shoved a high enough DC voltage into it, it would start oscillating somehow. suprised

Maybe use one of those bipolar transistor bricks out of an old motor drive. The things they used to use before IGBTs were invented.

Because there are too few "feedback" turns? If you started to shoving enough voltage into it to start oscillate, the transistor would probably be long dead by overvoltage by that time, not saying the MOT secondary would probably spark over by voltage spikes and higher frequency...
Maybe someone can prove me wrong? smile

Thank you for help

"few "feedback" turns?" How many turn to add? Oh i forget number of TR it's "2N3055"

OR do you have a other circuitry can be use with Microwave Transformer to make a HV?

Thank You Very Much

Uhhh, yeah. You can plug it into the wall with some balast. Like a 100W light bulb. A MOT is a 50 or 60Hz iron core transformer. However, if you are new to HV, this isn't a good thing to start out with. A MOT is deadly, even when balasted. Find a TV flyback or small high frequency transformer to play with. They hurt like no tomorrow if you are dumb enough to get shocked by one, but generally they aren't deadly. Some other things to get started with are plasma globe drivers and lamp driver boards from scanners.

Oh Thank you.
Do you have any circuit to use with Flyback(Easy easy and can use with low voltage Please).

the most easy flyback circuit is actually the one you were going to use to power your mot :P. Just wrap the primary coil about 18 turns and the feedback coil about 5 turns around the exposed part of the ferrite core on the flyback. After you build everything just power it with 12v.
