Yes: Link2

And check out links here at the bottom: Link2
And first of all you should read a lot about ionizing radiation and safety.

Check ebay. No heater should be needed. Just blast with HV.

What is inductance of cars ignition coil.

Primary inductances vary between about 600uH and 3mH, with secondaries of the order of 5H and more depending on type.

I have found it difficult to measure the inductance of secondaries due to the high winding resistance placing it outside the range of my Peak Atlas LCR meter, but was able to find the resonant frequency by incorporating the winding into a simple oscillator, and then measuring the frequency.

In various coils I measured, I found that there was always a definite relationship between the primary time constant and the self-resonant frequency of the secondary, so that the secondary would continue to give useful power at high revs as dwell time was reduced - what you would expect of competent design!

As for X-rays, one should, in my view, first construct a means of not only detecting them but measuring them, for which I would suggest an ionization chamber as the gold standard, since one may calibrate it from first principles based on chamber volume, plate area, and potential difference. Then I would suggest getting together a good supply of scrap lead, and finding a place where it can safely be melted down without danger to yourself and others from contamination, in order to make some lead bricks, and only then would I suggest going ahead with X-ray production. Some on this site may have other standards of safety, but I would not like to give you advice that was not sound.
