I'll also help stop this thread spiralling to doom with busses, trains, cabs and ferries, hehe:

Good old 1999 Suburban, I thought I timed it well with the rainbow. Sure, they're as common as batshit in America, but only 1100 suburans were imported into Australia. They're quite the rarity, and awesome vehicles. 8' by 4' rear cargo room. Woot.

argg, Suburbans.

We had a toyota land cruiser, but it was just too small (4 people + gear is too much for one), so we got a Suburban. We loved it, but after we put in the frist tank of gas (40gal tank) the check engine light came on. So we took it to the dealer. On the way back home from the dealer the coolant line burst, all of the coolant drained from the engine (and thus the temp gauge didn't show any signs of trouble), and shortly after the engine seased cry Then we had it towed back to the dealer where they rebuilt the engine on the asphalt, and upon putting it back in they crushed the wiring harness. As you can imagine this lead to countless problems, enough for it to get the required hours in the dealer for us to lemon law it. So we did, and got our $40k back, registration, etc. So we bought a ford f-250. This was great, but it had a paint drip on the inside of one door, and the latch on the tailgate didn't quite work. So we took it in. They crashed it, put some crappy bondo on it, and didn't say anything. But they did keep it in the shop long enough for us to lemon it. So then we bough another one. This one had a few problems (a/c not work very well, missing some the the connectors for the trailer, clunking sound when you turn the wheel hard to left, etc) but my dad refused to bring it in. We have had it since '02.

Besides that, my dad has a beamer that is currently covered in the garage b/c the brakes are fuxored, a 1979 CJ7 (heavily modified) and a '00 range rover. My mom has an '01 volvo s80. I have a '98 pontiac bonneville. We also have a 6' covered cargo trailer, a pickup bed converted into an open trailer, a sand rail that started out as a corvair, and a yamaha enduro 125 bike. All bought with cash (or check for some of them)

Right now I'm driving a red two door saturn with a busted AC, but the whole car was $1800 so I figure when it gets hot I'll just roll the windows down.
