Have any of you read his books? They include The Number of the Beast, The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, Rocket Ship Galilo, and Between Planets.

If you respond to this thread: May you all die beautifully and may your death inspire a thousand songs!

I'm familiar with his books-- as would most anyone who has ventured into the Science Fiction genre, since his future histories helped define it, and make for some seriously excellent reading.
Though he's the only author I've ever known to include appendixes to a sci-fi novel... ("For Us, The Living" -- maybe there's a reason it was never publilshed)

Actually, Orwell's 1984 includes an appendix to explain "newspeak", the new language. I'm sorry to say I only started reading it yesterday, I am ashamed rolleyes

Haven't read any Heinlein books, but once I'm done 1984, well, I'll still be on March break! High school isn't all bad...

Okay, you've got me...so he's not the only one.
Who actually needs an appendix for that, though? Evidently I skipped the appendix... newspeak wasn't that hard. Or maybe it's just been too many years and my memory is getting fuzzy. ill
