Hi!

Im trying to build very high power ZVS driver for induction heating purposes, can i use IGBTs instead of mosfets? Are they better for this?

I have few 600V @ 75A IGBTs in my mind

If you mean mazzilli, FORGET IT!!!!! you get dull red at best but most usual is it blows up.

Your better off using a halfbridge and kim ladha's circuit.

You can find the schematic in the OMG Induction Heater thread, but Kim's induction heater makes use of expensive high quality caps and is more suitable for really high power heaters. If you want something simple setting up the feedback system might not be to fun either. For quick, easy and inefficient induction heating use series resonance, and everyone's favourite 555 flyback driver. Penguin did that and got great results-> Link2 I've also made a series resonant induction heater, a bit more complex however. Link2
