Ok, here's the deal. Self_Denfenstrate was putting together a group buy on the old forum. He was having trouble getting ahold of some folks, so I offered to help and between the two of us we luckily got someone on the phone. They informed us that the leaded version of the capacitor was unavailable now and that they were replaced with an "unleaded" version. They told me they'd sell them to us for the same price as the old ones (2.58 ea) which was the agreed rate when we were buying back in December. I would like to order THIS saturday (CST) (03/11/06). So, provided you still want them, here is the list. If you do not PM me, you are out of the loop as SD said the general idea was the group buy had died.

The total was:
Mattrg x8
Part Scavenger x20
Self_Defenstrate x20ish

If you want to get in on the group buy (please do, you are welcome) PM either myself or Self_Defenstrate or reply here soon. The date is not set for certain yet, Self_Defenstrate may have other ideas, we haven't discussed dates because we just found out today. Rell gets a shipment in next week, and ordering fri/sat would be a good way to make sure we have a part in that.

I'll ship anywhere provided you pay shipping and 2.58ea via Paypal. Shipping USPS will be $8.10 to USA, unless someone tells me about a cheaper rate, I don't know about outside USA as far as cost. If you live outside USA, you probably have a general idea. These are the UNLEADED kind, I don't think there's a difference, but I don't know for sure. See the "Lead Free MMC" in Tesla Coils thread for discussion, EVR seems to think not either.

Any questions/problems/bones, post them here; any input is welcome.

for caps (which are pretty dang robust), consider a flat rate envelope from usps. They are only like $4 something, same type of shipping as the $8.1 box, just smaller and an envelope instead of a box.

Here are the specs:

Specifications

ESR mOhms 28
Height (in) -
Length (in) 1.811

At this point, I think I'll pass, I will build an SSTC eventually, but I don't think I will right now.

You do realize they're $4 or more apiece wherever you go unless you buy 52 from Rell? That's why we group buy this stuff. It won't hurt my feelings though if you don't.
