I would really like to build some electronic boards for projects. I have like 3 evil genius books and the gadget goldmine on the way. My other plan is to build steve wards mini sstc. Do you guys breadboard the circuits and use jumper wires or do you print out your own pcb's. Where would you find a pcb program if you do it this way.

Thanks,

James

Try Eagle from Cadsoft or DipTrace.

Or perhaps try PCB123's board software its free and all you have to do is print, or if you want spend the 100 or so dollars for the manufactured boards. dead

I use Circad Omniglyph, there is no schematic package, you work directly on the board, but its been the best one Ive found for boards over eagle's size limit,
But Ive been using it for a while, and I believe PCB123 or one of the other PCB manufactures since then have allowed printing suitible for etching.
