When i was taking wood from the woodpile out by the barn, I uncovered a Color TV from the 1970's, dad dosent know how long its been there but since its been outside and the tarp over it is mostly gone that it wouldent work. i plugged it in and for a fw sec it worked till i heard some fizzling and it stopped :(. The insulation around the mains transformer was chewed away. so now I have a rather nice Flyback and its accompanying voltage multipler. i know on the old and older boards that it was mentione how to identify the winidngs but im unable to find them, so here i am now asking how you identify the correct windings. Ill get some pictures up soon, its all open but there are six wire coming out of the HV side and a thick black wire presumable the primary on the opposing side of the core...
Could someone rediredt me somwhere so i can identify the connections on both the flyback and voltage multipler.

Can't help you much, as I've only experienced diode split flybacks. This site might still help a little though Otherwise you might want to wind your own primary, and usually the fattest wire has the most HV! (Not saying they all don't.)
I can't help you much without a picture though....

Ugh, dont like jln labz too much (irritating pseudo-scientific shi.. + stupid popups) but maybe a few good things can be found also.
If cascade is still connected look for ist connections inside TV, GND, input and output are rellevant. I also have 2 cascades and dont know how to connect them, of few inputs tried all and probably fried it.
Best to leave cascade as it is and winfd your primary for flyback, power it maybe with 2N3055 for first test.
