ok so I got my full bridge finished but when I connected it I tried the gates and with no power across the IGBTs the GDT buzz normally but when I connect up the power all gate activity stops like it is under extreme load. I dont understand why this would happen. any guesses I would love to get this up and running. when I lower the voltage across the IGBTs to zero the gate operates again. dont know if this will help but I found gate activity comes back at 1.5V and the AC voltage with a DMM is 1.5V but on a scope 30V. also when I dont have the primary connected I can bring the voltage up but it dosnt switch anything, but the gate is still active.

also I got the gate to be active but its quiet and loaded if I reverse the legs of the IGBTs gate, I can bring up the voltage but the middle of each half bridge is at 2V less than the supply voltage I don't think they should be doing anything. also the IGBTs are good as far as a diode test goes.

What circuit are you using? If it's steve wards and you dont have any tesla coil for it to get feedback from, then it might start switching at a lower frequency that you can hear as a buzz. I believe that's what happend to me, when I was testing one of my coils the same thing happend.
it is steve wards but I located the problem is in the new half bridge I built so its time to debug. I got it working just as well with the new capacitors though. I was using it with a coil, and I increased the primary tank capacitance but the coil is still pouting out the longest sparks at the same number of turns.
ok I am stumped it wont work anymore after I packedged it I caint figure out the problem I would really appreciate help.

I really dont know what is going on but its working and its really nice. I am planning to take photos tonight. I dont want to finde the problem because im worried it wont work anymore.
