Okay can you guys give me some links for this stuff? How about this one? LED DISPLAY SOLDER STATION ZD-929C ZD Electronic Tools ZD-929C Temperature controlled soldering station with LED display. Heat sensor located near the tip for fast response and +-10 deg. “F†control. Rated at 48Watts, 24Vac handle.Temperature range: 320 deg. "F" to 800 deg. "F". Isolated tip, fused line. 117 VAC. Extra tips are available for general replacement or special uses. WT. 4.8 Data Sheet
But if it has a rheostat you can control the temp right?

the mpja one just controls the power to the tip, which generally more power = hotter tip. But do the to differences in the amount of heat from the tip escaping when it is sitting in the holder and when it is melting a blob of solder the temp is not regulated.
That other one looks fine... If you want my suggestion I would go for a weller ec2000 series station... They usually go for around $50-100 on ebay, the tips/heaters/etc are available and it seems to do a very good job. I have been using one for years now and it has had no problems
