I have seen this coil on the net years ago, but not in operation. The ground strike look like lightning bolts!

This is Kevin Eldridge's coil. He has a hell of a setup out there and I have seen it run several times. I think his max was 28' at something like 35KVA. The toroid is made from hard foam insulation and chicken wire. Here's his site: Link2

I'd really like to see it, and am near him every November for a yearly hunting trip, however he doesn't seem keen on folks trying to invite themselves out to see it and has never responded to any of my emails. Sigh...oh well! cry
