Well, it just is shaped like a Dalek. (You know, "We will ex-term-in-ate")
Particularly when I use my chain mail glove to hold a neon tube out in front.

Ouch, you're a truesome Jackass! That cage would be a pretty good for iterrogating people. Imagine this: you're putting a victim into this cage, switch on tesla coil and set less than half of power, so sparks wouldn't hit cage, but victim will see them. Then ask him "you wanna more?" and increase slowly the power to point, where sparks hit cage ^^

I actually made this up for a video entry for a BMW advert that they invited me to make. They specified they something intense but not a Jackass like stunt.
I have shot the video but it has not been edited yet. When/if it is finished it will be posted to YouTube.

Does the cage just sit on the driveway or do you have a wire connected from it going directly into the ground?

I have an earth wire direct to TC but mainly to intensify the sparks. It would not be essential as the bitumen seems to conduct adequately. It is not needed for the cage to be safe.

The video is completed, runs for 2 minutes and is an attempt at humour titled "Tesla envy". It has gone off to BMW and if accepted will be accessible via YouTube as well.

I couldn't get through to my site or 4HV (both on Chris' 1121 server) for a while last night due to the hits from Digg. Now up to 1430 Diggs which is still small compared with 4000 for the Eye of Sauron and 3000 for the Car thief protection.

I wasn't really expecting this one to do well.

Also got the news that BMW has accepted my video and will pay for it - even better. It will appear on YouTube next week when I get the go ahead.
