The tube is a 3C24 Unshunted MOT Secondary is wound with Microwave fan wire on a spice container Primary is wound around part of a hand pump (which is funny because 2 of my other coils use parts of a balloon inflator!)
This is a practice coil for my Micro VTTC coming soon.
The coil will use an external Filament supply
The Resistor is a 3K Ohmite 50 Watt - concerned this isn't enough, Does anyone have a 8-10K the same size? Will buy / trade

I am pretty excited about this project, first VTTC to work first try (with a wopping 1/8" of breakout). After I found the best Cap I got 1" brushed discharge without doing any tuning.
