I made a CG myself. I was simple and easy to use, but I wanted to make something...bigger.

I made a Operating Platform (electronics there) for my CG and a Coil (separeted, connected by cables)

This is just not working. I don't know what to do with is :(

If there are any questions, ask me. I want to know what is wrong...

Hi Daimarus. Welcome to 4HV.

Can you describe your system to us? (I can't conveniently unpack your RAR archive). What does it do or not do? How about posting a quick schematic?

Cheers,
Bill

It is based on my friend's scheme. I don't know why you can't unpack this thing, but I can send this by mail. This is NOT infected or what. I just want your help.

Link2

This is the scheme (bottom)... It is written is Polish language, so you won't understand much :) Anyways the scheme is correct by me. I'll upload the packed photos somewhere else, but tomorrow (10:30 PM here...)

W1 and B1 (they make a whole Fuse)=fuse that blocks too much power

R1, R2, R3, R4= "resistors"
D1, D2 = Diodes... like LEDs, but I put there normal diodes, that don't make any light...
Q1 = Trigger and "Tyrystor/Thyrystor" or something like that... no such word in my dictionary :( It is like Diode, but with "Gate" that blocks power. Only after getting the power to The Gate it can pass electricyty through it... Hard to tell...
L1=Coil
and this strange thing arter Fuse... It is like "Brigde" that makes power 220V polarised to + and to - ways. It just splits the power to 2 ways
C1=Capitator(s)
P2=The Trigger or Switch

Actually you don't have to post anything here until tomorrow (by my time), because there are no informations for now.

Sorry fir bad file of whatever else. Please wait untill tomorrow (I think I've already told that...)

It looks to me like the diode across the output is connected the wrong way around.

Wow and I thought that my electronics jargon was weak.
1st. Hard wire a volt meter to your caps.
2nd. the bridge is diode bridge, its a type of full wave rectifier
3rd. Thyristor, will start conducting current if it is triggered and continue to conduct untill the voltage/current gets below its threshold voltage(practicly 0)
4th. please try to put the more important specs in here
5th. You can probably lose the resistors

re: packed images

There is a section here for you to post images as attachments Link2

When you group a bunch of images into a .RAR or .ZIP file or other compression/packing format then you are going to find a lot of people who wont DL your stuff for fear of computer virii. Also, RAR requires third party software for windows that many people don't have, so stick to standards like ZIP or uncompressed/packed files.

As for your gun, good luck. I'm trying to get one to work as well... but I'm pretty sure I know where I am going wrong (apparently you have to have a coil somewhere, one that's NOT shorted out internally and smokes when power is applied...)
