site=elec&secsite=misc†Long arcs of the MOT, with association of capacitors, already I also looked at some videos in the youtube.com that shows the MOT also associated with some capacitors, however I do not know if they are associates in parelelo or if they are in series. Somebody knows as to make this?

I think what he probably means is that he used microwave oven capacitors and the high voltage diodes (though some brands of MO capacitor do have an internal diode...) to make a voltage multiplier.

If the capacitor is connected to the primary then it is in paralell with it. The capacitor decreases the current drawn but with the same output. The capacitor is called a PFC (power factor correction) capacitor and it makes the load seem more resistive than inductive. There are some calculators on the internet to find the PFC capacitor.
