Hello,
This thread will contain information on my 30M beacon project, as it develops. I haven't put it all together yet, but I thought it might be neat to include at least a general description of the project, as well as some pictures/videos of what I've done so far. This post will be constantly updated as I make progress.
General Description:
This project will document the design and building of a multimode beacon, designed to transmit for long periods of time on the 30 Meter Amateur Radio band. The beacon will deliver approximately 200mW of power at a frequency of 10.140MHz, give or take a few kHz. The beacon is designed to be as simple and low-powered as possible. It consists of three basic units: the processor, the oscillator, and the power amplifier. The entire unit will be sealed in a weatherproof enclosure, to allow for installation for long periods of time at a remote location.
