Anyone think of a better title and I will change it.

This is the same gear as "fill your backyard with sparks".

That would make a hell of a good security system, just hook it up to a PIR and you won't even need to lock your doors at night

Sure got a lot of interest from this picture. Like 13,000 hits to my Tesladownunder site in 3 days = 80 Gig. Chris Russell hosts my site at 1121.org and had to double my bandwidth allocation.

Plug for Chris as an internet service provider on 1121.org. Works well, service is great and far cheaper than hosting in Australia.
I still keep a cutdown 2 year old version on my Australian site as a lot of old Google stuff linked to it.

Sites that picked it up included Hackaday, Digg, Overclockers and others picked it up after that. Quite popular in Sweden according to my counter. I had contact with slash/dot but they didn't use it in the end.

I am hoping to have a really good picture this weekend that could potentially be much more popular and with much more universal appeal. Have been buying parts and making arrangements.

Photo shows an early version with me a bit close to the streamers. It spoilt the picture a bit. 11 second exposure = 1 rotation.
