Okay, I dragged this subject out of the for sale section because it really deserves the proper attention.
The capacitors I use to make my MMC are almost identical to item 160045943763, which is a 0.22µF, 2kV PP film, epoxy dipped capacitor. I used the same string of about 45 of those in series (about 0.005µF) for many hours of operation and never had any problems. I started out using a 15/30 Franceformer with just a static gap, and always got great results of about 18 to 20-ish sparks.
One of the NST legs shorted out before anything else failed. I switched over to two 15/30 Magnateks and was getting crappy results until I put the shop vac hose in front of the spark gap. The whole thing went crazy at that point, there wasn't even enough room for us anymore because the streamers were filling what little space it was in!
I never found any of them to heat up beyond almost warm, even after runs of up to 10 or 15 minutes. Not to mention, it's nice to be able to tap different places in the string to vary the capacitance, which is one way to tune.
I would be interested to hear from anyone who picks some of these little gems up. I am tempted to buy a few just because it's a good price, but I already have over a hundred of the ones I currently use. Better not get anymore stuff I don't need.

Thats pretty cool that they worked out well for you (and since they are so cheap). Id expect as much since its a small tesla coil, so the currents arent too bad. You also have an impressive voltage rating with 45 in series!
