The part number is OEM, it's an old GE SCR used for inverters in light-rail transit. You might find data for "A29" or "A29xx" series hockey-puck SCR's in GE databooks 6th edition or older. That is the root part number to look for, I think.

The hockey puck scrs are mounted in a press heat sink that is torqued down to provide contact. Caution is needed because if a bolt broke it could hurt someone.
We used scrs like that in paper machine drives made by GE. Drive trips were sometimes blamed on failed scrs. Our only test was to apply 500 volts DC from top to bottom looking for leakage.
This created a box of suspect parts that seemed to sit around forever.

The gate transmission wire is terminated in a plug to fire the SCR. When you find the app note, it will suggest a driver and what type of gate. !t might be GTO, or gate turn off

Ebay They were cheaper than all the other ones I could find, so I decided to just try them and hope for the best I'm currently using a stack of 5 4070Ws for my coilgun. I tested it up to 181V at 16000uF so far
