Good evening, following a message that attracted my curiosity on the forum (touch the lightning), I share a video of a French MOT Tesla coil scandalized me because of a scene, a man was violently electrified by the secondary of a coil You're here

I will need the opinion of the forums members on this kind of behavior.

What do your think of this stupid gesture?

Not sure where the point is. Its someone else who is stupid and careless. What do you think to achieve by becoming angry by showing moral superiority.. What happened happened and it will happen again, you can try educating or what not, stupidity will never die. At least the video shows that this was a serious mistake. The guys are laughing for the camera, but they shit their pants, trust me.
In summary, ignore it, be better but let idiots be idiots.
Other people spend their lives believing in god, ignoring that fact that the number of gods a human mind can come up with is infinite therefore the chance in believing in the right one is basically zero, there is endless potential to improve humanity.

High voltage has a lot of "mysteries" some times. But using a topload as capacitor makes that video a really bad idea. I saw one guy saying he did that without a top load and with very high frequency, not a spark gap coil I think. And he says he didn't had problems. But you know, maybe the high voltage decides your weather is very dry and that your shoes together with the floor are isolating you very well from earth, then the person becomes the topload. I don't think it will feel any good if not worst than the video.

If the guy on the video had some unknown heart problem, he could be easily dead.

I totally agree, however women usually are attracted to idiots - easier personalities, less complicated sex.
Evolution gone bad.

Does anyone know of any recorded cases of death-by-Tesla-Coil ?

Due to the secondary side only, not the primary.
I guess ... no.

from all I've seen is the most shocking video about Tesla coils fail.

I allow myself to translate a sentence of a guy.

After an electric shock of this magnitude, you have to drink a glass of salt water.
because we lose electrolytes

That is true ?
