Assuming RG-6 is the normal CATV wire with 75 ohms of impedance and I need to couple to the SMA diameter that is 50 ohms how big of a deal would it be in terms of burning something up and over a short run like 3-5 feet would it matter ?
Im trying to connect a drone camera with heads up display to my flat screen tv for some testing. Without using the transmit feature.
I have 100's of the little SMA connectors of all types so i was thinking of attaching a SMA barrel to RG barrel using some solder copper foil and or silver epoxy. Then heat shrink it nice and pretty.
