I will ask one more time before I put an order in:

I am going to have some 24" x 6" spun aluminum toroids made for my 1 mill V TC. There is a volume discount. Normally, these are well over $400 plus shipping. Is anyone interested? I'll give this a few days to see if anyone is interested.

I don't want to burst your bubble but
! MV would require a minor radius of approx. 333mm ... 666mm diameter ... a Devilish coil :)

That would be more than I would want to spend. Nonetheless, I'm just checking if anyone is interested in these dimensions. I had one just like it that worked great, but my cat knocked it off of my shelf and there is a dent in it. I got about 5-6 foot sparks from it...whatever breakdown voltage that works out to.

Topload sizing is still something I am struggling to understand in TC use, but nonetheless I'm in the planning phases of what will hopefully be a 6" coil powered by 4 15/30 NST's. Will a topload this large work for that? I know it depends on a lot of other factors, but I'm still intrigued. Nice toroids are expensive.

Have you checked out Amazing1?

I've bought several toroids from them before including the size you listed. For what they are, I find the prices to be fairly reasonable and fantastic quality. Shipping is expensive of course due to the size, but they were packed very well.
