I was thinking about encapsulating a voltage multiplier in a plastic (ABS) box with Sylgard 184 silicone potting compound, but I have no experience with this particular product, so I'm wondering, has anyone potted anything with it before?
What happens if you don't use a primer, does it "stick" at all, just not very well?

Be aware that silicone potting compounds have poor thermal conductivity rate your components very conservatively.
