It seems that lots of people are building this supposed over-unity device from tesla's patents. What was it originally intended to do? Im interested to see if anyone knows much about its history or if anyone bothered to attempt a build. Alot of people get sci-fi with tesla, but this still interests me to know what its original purpose was.

It's amusing that they are testing with water bath calorimeters, when if it actually did what was claimed, 10kW power output with no power input, you could just connect up a few floodlights and see the gross output. Sounds like they are still messing around with small differences between large numbers from incorrectly calibrated measuring instruments.
