Not sure if this made it to general news in Europe.
Last weekend, at an indoor shooting range in Florida, a man accidentally killed his own 14-year-old son.

It happened after an ejected shell casing bounced off something and fell between the shooter's shirt and his back. He reached around to remove it, while still holding the handgun with finger on trigger.

a 14 year old son shouldn't be allowed in a shooting range... even with his father
I can understand that those fucking firearms are a right in US, but rights have to be applied boundaries
there are so much things that wouldn't happen if there were clever boundaries...

I suppose it was a reflex reaction. You would have thought standing behind someone when they were shooting would have been fairly safe though

I shoot recreationaly from time to time and am in favor of people being able to own firearms if they want but how are there no charges being laid against the father? Range safety 101 is "keep your booger hook off the bang button." At a minimum this was negligence resulting in homicide.
