Hi all,
I'm doing a small project with my dad these days, he wants to make lichtenberg figures in wood, as a part of some of the woodturning he is doing.
The only problem when living in Denmark, is that there are no NSTs or other parts with an output bigger than 10kV. I'm too old to run around looking for old TVs, or taking microwaves apart. I want something badass with only 1 secondary winding and some space for a primary winding.
I've been looking at information unlimited website, any good ones there? Other websites?
I just want to buy the right ones first time, as import tax can be a little high when buying from the U.S.
I'm a dad now, so I have to control my cravings for fun stuff.

10 kV seems more than adequate using wood, have you tried a microwave oven transformer, only 2kV but lethal current, adjust the moisture content or surface wetness for effects.
I have ten 35 kV dc flyback transformers here in UK that I am willing to sell/post. PM me if interrested

3 years ago i dumped all the MO transformers and parts for Spark Gap Tesla Coils that I collected thru the last decade. The MO transformers has waay too much current to get a decent result...

I do not know which TV they were for, I bought them new from CPC here in UK.
The plan was for a V8 eht PSU, very high ripple frequency = less ripple voltage Like many projects ... I still have the components :( I also have matching npn power transistors. Offers welcome.
