Everbody uses that tek probe tongue

If you look through the progression of pics, they seal the transformer tank tubes better and better. I bet they had leaks. That primary is funny too.

That is some seriously nice engineering porn on a semi-DIY-professional level, it seems to be about as much of a company as any other site that users of this forum has :)

I am guessing it is a project from his study, when looking at all the expensive equipment around it can only be at the university.

Graduate University:

University of Wisconsin, Madison

Graduate Field of Study:

Plasma Physics(PhD expected 2016): Specializing in plasma RF heating and current drive.
MS Electrical Engineering(2012): Solid state power conversion

Sulaiman, he got some updates on other articles from late in 2015, so I am sure he is alive.

I suppose cheesey , but lets remember any of us HV'ers could give up the ghost due to a small mistake.

Sure is a nice supply, wonder if it works.

Whenever I went all-in, I could never get anything to work. These days I take a simple step-by-step approach which generally yields better results.

I too. modularity, and scaling seem to be less risky. but maybe they did too, and just didnt say so.
