The ebay seller "kwtubes" (I forgot his real name) is a great guy. It must be 10 years since I bought some rare old counter/display tubes from him (E1T's?), and some mercury-capillary coulometric hourmeters discussed here: Link2 in a thread where Stella recalled the name to be Gintaras.

Mads, I am eager to see a picture of the glow from a modest DC current in your big old thyratron. If it's totally enclosed and hidden from view, what's the point? smile Are there some pins dedicated to a special doohickey for managing the hydrogen pressure?
