Hi! I just built a very simple 7 segment panaplex display. The Anode is made of aluminum fly screen and the cathodes are made of metal wire. PCB Material was used as a feed-through. I drilled holes, soldered small wires into the PCB material and removed the copper around the feed-through with a dremel tool. It works quite well

I used a propane-butane mixture from my Bunsen burner... ^^ Probably not the best stuff but it worked better than low pressure air! The display was noticeable brighter. For the next experiments i want to use Krypton gas. I have a small amount of this gas at home.
