I guess that the Motorola 68000 CPUs could be, but they have just been stored in a bin with a lot of other processors, some legs are bent but I got no idea if they are in a working condition, that is why I would just sell it for scrap.

Have a fair few assorted laptop/etc CPUs here if you want them. Seems almost a shame but these are pre-Core2 and older than feudalism (tm) also have a couple of early Pentiums as well.
What happened with these? Surely yes the MC68K are collectable. Us Commodore Amiga crowd at least are passionate. They probably only made it into the A1000, and that would make them hard to replace, but I’d certainly like a nice one just for collection!
