This is for people aware of recent publicity regarding that "cheater's exchange" website, and also familiar with the fictional story of Mildred Pierce (1941 novel, 1945 award-winning movie, 2011 TV mini-series).
A newspaper headline the other day said "Ashley Madison CEO faithful to wife despite founding cheating website". There was a picture of Mr. and Mrs. Noel Biderman.
How ironic, I thought. Fictional Mildred's cheating husband moved out to live with a Mrs. Maggie Biderman. Later remembered that her surname is actually Biederhof!
I hope none of our readers get in trouble for having subscribed to, or hacked into, AshleyMadison.com. The former group includes lots of people who entrusted their everyday names, email and postal addresses, and credit card numbers to a commercial website, using their employers' computers.
