I'm headed off for yet another stint in the middle east at the end of this month. I'm sick of being bored for 4 months each trip, so this time I'm going to do some of my much delayed coilgun research while I'm over there.

That means I'm in need of at least one largish IGBT. I'm looking for ratings of 600V minimum, and 350-600A range. I might consider buying a pair, but the price would have to be really good. Finances are tight and they'll stay that way until the extra money from the deployment kicks in.

PM me if you've got one you'd like to sell.

Dave

Search for "IGBT*" on ebay.

Id offer to sell you something, but since my "lab" is now 130 miles away from me (and im without a car), its kinda hard to get to stuff. I probably couldnt give you a better deal than what you will find on ebay anyway. Expect to pay about 15-20 bucks each for what you are after.

I've been watching ebay pretty closely for the last few days, but the only thing I've found thus far is way outside my budget. I saw a pair of 600v 600a toshiba IGBTs for $95. My budget and time are both tight, so I'm hoping somebody has a couple laying around in the lab they dont need.
